Drawing upon Yoga and Pilates principles, Fit Yoga has dramatically improved many bodies. The program is designed to strengthen, lengthen and tone the body, particularly the legs, buttocks, core and shoulders. Challenging Inversions, Arm balances & Standing balances are also explored.
Fit Yoga is a challenging, rewarding class that runs as a separate course and is not included in the usual 6 week pass. Fit Yoga runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays at 6am and runs for 70 minutes. Fit yoga students must commit to 2 classes per week, per term which runs for approximately 10 – 12 weeks. Students are able to ‘make up’ missed classes by attending another yoga class on our timetable. It is not recommended for students with chronic injuries, particularly shoulders, neck and back.
Fit Yoga classes are vastly different from General yoga classes and students are strongly encouraged to attend at least one General class per week in addition to Fit Yoga so that they receive the benefits of relaxation and restoration that General classes provide.
Fit Yoga classes are extremely popular and since few students leave the program, limited places are available for beginners. Register your interest early to avoid disappointment.
