Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar Yoga is designed to increase and improve the bodies range of movement through the use of yoga props & step-by-step instruction.

With an emphasis on alignment, students are guided through a range of postures that will promote circulation as well as tone & strengthen the body. Precise alignment of the body helps to correct postural imbalances and bring about a sense of freedom and equilibrium.

Iyengar General: Students should have some experience in Iyengar to attend or call the studio prior.

Iyengar Basics: This class runs on Tuesday’s at 9:30am & is available for students with a valid Vitality pass.

Students of varying levels of health/fitness and age can discover the benefits of Iyengar yoga.
