Our Beginners General class follows the same format as our General yoga class, building more slowly on the concepts you have been introduced to in your Foundation lesson.
You will begin with modified postures to warm up the body and settle your mind, preparing you gently for your yoga practice. You will then go through the Salute to the Sun sequence, with your instructor guiding you through any modifications you need to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from each posture. Following the Salute to the Sun sequence you will be mindfully instructed through various yoga postures before concluding the lesson with a meditation or relaxation.
Beginners General is equally suitable for new students or existing students that wish to refine their technique.
Moving from the Beginners General class into a General yoga class is a decision made by you as the student, with guidance and advice from your Instructor.
